USB Type C Power

PD Charger- An Integrated Solution for multiple charging portable devices
Introduction

Following the EU new regulation to establish a standard USB Type-C connector for all charging portable devices starting from 2024, EDACPOWER offers 30Watts to 240Watts AC-DC Switching power supply with USB-C cable.

The power designs are featured with USB PD 3.1 and QC 4+, and power wattages 45W/65W/100W/140W/240W are available. The PD function enables power supply to detect the device and adjust to the required charging mode automatically, while QC 4+ allows the devices to be charged to 50 percent in 15 minutes, deliver the ultimate fast-charging performance for devices.

With the integrated charging connector, EDACPOWER’s USB Type-C power solutions empower customers to make more eco-friendly decisions.

GaN Technology

Gallium Nitride (GaN) is a wide-bandgap semiconductor providing efficient, compact, and reliable solutions for a wide range of applications, including ICT, Medical, and Industrial industries.

With a unique crystalline structure, GaN exhibits superior properties compared to traditional silicon MOSFETs, including higher electron mobility and thermal conductivity. GaN technology enables power supply designs to be smaller, more efficient, and contribute to energy-saving.

EDACPOWER proudly introduces the GaN-based Type-C PD chargers ranging from 45W to 240W.

Advantages
    • Higher Efficiency:

GaN devices promises higher power conversion efficiency by its lower resistance and faster switching speeds. This reduces power loss, decreases heat generation, and increases overall system efficiency.

  • Compact Size:

GaN technology allow for the design of smaller and lighter power supplies without compromising power output, result in higher power density.

  • Enhanced Reliability:

GaN technology offers superior thermal management, enabling power supplies to operate at higher temperatures. This improved thermal performance enhances the reliability of power supply solutions.

Safety Approvals

Our PD chargers are complied with ITE/ICT regulations: IEC/EN 62368-1, CE, FCC.

Applications

These USB Type-C powers are applicable to the majority of ICT devices: mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, headphones, earphones, laptops, and other portable devices.
