New Product: EDM1201 Series DC/DC Switching Converter 120W
Introduction
EDAC POWER introduces the new EDM1201 series DC/DC Switching Converter, high-performance products developed specifically for high-standard medical equipment, mobile medical systems, and automotive applications, capable of delivering a stable power output of up to 120W. In its design, we balance a compact form factor with highly reliable electrical protection, ensuring optimal performance for the systems and critical equipment under various DC input conditions.
Breakthrough： Wide Input Range and High-Efficiency Power Conversion
The EDM1201 series supports a wide DC input range of 12~16VDC, providing stable 19V, 20V, or 24V voltage output, demonstrating excellent device compatibility. Through optimized circuit design, the product achieves a superior conversion efficiency of ≥ 87% at rated input, effectively reducing waste heat generation during operation. Furthermore, the product features intuitive LED indicators on the casing, allowing users to easily check the operating status.
Leading：Medical-Grade Safety and Fully Automatic Recovery Protection
For us, the reliability and safety of power adapters are equally important. The EDM1201 series boasts an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) exceeding 50,000 hours, maintaining stable performance even under prolonged and frequent use. To ensure safety, the EDM1201 incorporates multiple protection mechanisms.
Most importantly, all protections feature fully automatic recovery, allowing the system to restart instantly after an environmental anomaly is resolved, eliminating the need for manual reset. These include:
- Short-circuit protection (Auto Recovery)
- Overvoltage protection (Auto Recovery)
- Overcurrent protection (Auto Recovery)
- Overtemperature protection (Auto Recovery)
The EDM1201 series can operate in environments ranging from -20°C to 40°C and is designed to comply with leading international safety standards, including those for information technology products (EN/IEC/UL 62368-1), medical products (EN/IEC 60601-1 series), and medical electromagnetic compatibility (CE EMC EN 60601-1-2). It can be seamlessly integrated into high-value clinical medical, mobile ambulance, and industrial precision systems.
