New Product: 140W USB-C Medical/ITE GaN PD Charger - EUM114A Series
Introduction
Following the launch of Medical grade GaN PD Charger- EUM106AXR(65W) and EUM110A(110W) in 2024, EDAC POWER again introduces the new EUM114A Series EUM114A Series 140W GaN PD charger, a product that integrates advanced Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology with precision engineering to deliver high-efficiency and stable power solutions for medical and ITE applications.
The EUM114A Series is fully compatible with the latest USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 protocol and Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) 4.0+ standards, offering a fast and efficient charging experience. It optimizes charging for a wide range of devices, including smartphones, laptops, and medical equipment, significantly reducing charging times while extending device longevity.
With a maximum power output of 140W and support for multiple output voltages (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 20V, 28V), the EUM114A is designed to meet the varying power needs of critical medical devices. These include portable ventilators, infusion pumps, patient monitors, and portable medical analyzers, ensuring stable power supply and reducing the risk of operational interruptions.
As a PD charger designed for both medical and ITE applications, the EUM114A complies with IEC/EN60601-1 and IEC/EN62368-1 regulations, providing comprehensive safety for patients and operators. Its reinforced structure can withstand higher voltages, delivering reliable and stable power output while minimizing the risk of electric shock. This makes it a dependable solution for use in demanding medical environments.
To enhance safety further, the EUM114A is equipped with multiple protection mechanisms, including short circuit, over voltage, and over current protections, with an optional over temperature protection feature for environments with significant temperature fluctuations. The charger’s lightweight design, with dimensions of just 137 x 59 x 34mm and a weight of 500g, ensures easy portability and installation. It also supports multiple AC inlet configurations (C14, C8, C6, C18), offering enhanced flexibility for various applications.
