New Product: 180W & 250W Medical GaN Desktop- EM1180/EM1251 Series
Introduction
GaN technology has revolutionized the medical power supply landscape, providing efficient, compact, and reliable solutions for a wide range of medical applications. EDAC POWER proudly presents the new generation of GaN Medical Power Supply series - EM1180 (180W max.) / EM1251 (250W max.).
Unlike conventional silicon-based transistors, GaN-based transistors switch at much higher frequencies with lower energy losses, allowing for more efficient power conversion. This high-frequency operation reduces the size of passive components like inductors and capacitors, leading to more compact power supply designs. The integration of GaN technology in EM1180 and EM1251 helps to reach an efficiency of up to 95%, and the dimensions are 35-40% smaller than our traditional silicon-based power series. Consequently, models like EM1180 and EM1251 achieve lower power loss and less heat generation, contributing to more sustainable and efficient system performance.
With 180W-250W comprehensive GaN medical power series developed by EDAC POWER, EM1180 and EM1251 are widely applied to diagnostic equipment, patient monitoring systems, medical imaging devices, therapeutic equipment, dental equipment, surgical equipment rehabilitation devices, and so on.
EM1180 & EM1251 are designed primarily based on Medical (IEC/EN60601-1) and are complied with I.T.E. (IEC/EN62368-1) regulations. Additionally, they incorporate multiple protection features, including over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protections, ensuring a safe operating environment for both patients and medical professionals.
